LACOMED seeks level 2 re-accreditation
Saint Michael’s College of Laguna has undergone Level II Re-accreditation visit of the Liberal Arts, Commerce and Education Programs on 7 – 9 March 2005. The members of the visiting team included Dr. Ellen Salac, Dr. Flora Javier, Ma. Sylvia Songco, Dr. Lourdes Sabile, Ms. Maribel Estepa, Engr. Flordeliza Villaseñor and Dr. Antonio Mateo, Jr.
PACUCOA accreditation acknowledges the level of quality of an educational institution as it carries out its academic mission based on its aims and objectives. SMCL embraces accreditation to further boost its academic standard and achieve full autonomy in its subject curriculum.
Dr. Salac, the Chairman of the PACUCOA team congratulated in advance the Board of Directors and the Area Chairs for complying with the standards set for the accreditation. She shared that during the dialogues, the faculty, non-teaching staff and the students expressed their satisfaction regarding the way the school is being managed and the treatment that they receive as members of the SMCL Family.
