SMCL strengthens alumni relations
SMCL alumni consist ently demonstrate strong loyalty and support for the College. The installation of the 7th President of the SMCL Alumni Association, Anthony L. Almeda with Henry Sy of the SM Group of Companies as inducting officer was held during the 31st anniversary dinner at Palms Country Club, Alabang. The event had been subject of at least four press releases adding to the College promotional mileage.
Roberto Antonio Demetillo, an Outstanding Michaelean awardee based in the US, presented a paper on nursing trends in the United States of America. His wife Cynthia Dayrit-Demetillo also a nurse also talked on the other fields of nursing that nurses can consider venturing in. The seminar held on 19 January 2007, at the Saint Theodore Hall elicited interesting queries and reactions from the Nursing students in attendance.
