PRACTICAL NURSING
Faculty Line-up | Facilities | Photo Gallery
The Practical Nursing Course is a creation brought about by the shortage of Registered Nurses in the United States of America. The practical nurse is trained to assist registered nurses in the basic physical care and emotional nurturance of their clients. The training will entail knowledge and understanding of nursing care using Maslow's Basic Needs Hierarchy. Within a classroom setting, the students will learn theories as well as skills of nursing care. Tools and equipment in a hospital setting are provided to students, to practice and master the learned skills in preparation for their on-the-job training in hospitals, nursing homes and other facilities that will enhance their nursing care skills as well as develop their confidence level as practical nurses.
