These specialized topics are built on a well-established foundation of business subjects in the areas of Personnel Management, Marketing, Finance and Operations thus developing a truly well-endowed BSHM practitioner ready to become not just employees but prime movers in this field of endeavor. bshm | ahrm | career opportunities | back to top Associate in Hotel & Restaurant Management The primary objective of the two-year Associate in Hotel and Restaurant Management is train students to become highly skilled, mature and responsible employees of the growing hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, restaurants, etc.). The program introduces the students to the many skills and activities inherent to this field such as food preparation; hotel and resort management, bar management, accounting and others. The teaching methodology used in this two-year course makes full use of related learning experiences and practicum training in major hotels, resorts and restaurants in Manila and its environs. Additionally, the AHRM program has been developed as a ladderized program leading to a Baccalaureate Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
