The School of Nursing and Midwifery is committed to the delivery of a progressive curriculum integrated with the highest human values and principles that aims to develop competently skilled young men and women dedicated to humanistic principles and preservation of human life.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
The program aims to produce a fully functioning nurse who possesses a sensitive awareness to the health needs of society as well as commitment to the alleviation of problems arising there from, a research attitude through the use of the nursing process and the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes for the promotion of health, prevention of illness, restoration of health and alleviation of suffering.
Associate in Health Science Education
This DOH accredited two-year preparatory course aims to produce graduates who are equipped with the appropriate competence to function as a primary health care provider such as Health Aide or Community Health Aide.
Graduate in Midwifery
The Midwifery program is premised on the relief in the dignity of man and the value of life. it is geared towards the preparation of the individual both as a person and as a midwife for creative and useful membership in society by providing her with the necessary concepts, attitudes and skills essential to her personal development and as a member of the community health development team taking into consideration the ethical, moral and legal constraints of her profession.
