LEVEL III RE-ACCREDITATION OF THE LABAED PROGRAMS

The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) awarded the certificates of Level III Reaccredited Status to the Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Bachelor of Secondary education and Bachelor of Elementary Education (LABAEd) programs of the college on 03 March 2008. The certifications are valid until March 2013. Considering the rigors that go with this reaccreditation where the compliance to the weaknesses identified during the Level II First Reaccredited Status and the documentations for four additional criteria; viz. criterion 1, a reasonably high standard of instruction, criterion 2, a highly visible community outreach program, criterion 4, a strong faculty/staff development tradition and criterion 7, on extensive and functional library and other learning resource facilities, were subjected to a very close scrutiny and evaluation this is undoubtedly a momentous feat.

The PACUCOA Accrediting team that came to visit on 21-22 February 2008 included: Dr. Rosita I. Navarro, Chairperson and assigned to Criterion 4; for LABAEd Dr. Rosita Santos, assigned to Criterion 1, for the Liberal Arts program; Dr. Conrado Inigo, Jr., assigned to Criterion 1 for the Business Administration program, Dr. Paz Lucido assigned to criterion for BSE and BSEd; Ms. Belen Vibar assigned to Criterion 7 for LABAEd and Ms. Norma Montalvo, assigned to criterion 2 for LABAED.
